Welcome to Casablanca, Morocco

Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, you will be warmly greeted by your private driver and travel therapist. From there, we’ll embark on a scenic 2 ½ hour journey to your hotel.

Once settled in, we’ll have the opportunity to stretch our legs at the iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa square and enjoy our first taste of Marrakech. At the square, we will experience extraordinary sights such as snake charmers, street performers, and traditional musicians. Following a leisurely stroll, we'll satisfy our hunger with our first culinary adventure into Moroccan cuisine.

Day 2 Explore the Historical City of Marrakech

Embark on a tour of the historical city of Marrakech, where you'll experience the breathtaking splendor of the Medersa Ben Youssef, along with the serene Majorelle Gardens and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. The tropical Majorelle Gardens, lovingly restored under the patronage of the late Yves Saint Laurent, offer a tranquil escape.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the vibrant souks of Marrakech, a bustling marketplace with over 3,000 stalls, each offering a unique sensory experience. Later, you'll be treated to a traditional dinner with a warm and enchanting Moroccan family. The evening will be serenaded by the mystical music of Dakka Marrakechia, a Sufi brotherhood of musicians. Their music and blessings will welcome you into the home and accompany you throughout the night.

Journey through the Mountains to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou

After a leisurely morning and breakfast, we will depart from Marrakech and travel four hours through the scenic mountains. Our destination for lunch is the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a traditional pre-Saharan habitat made of clay.

Following a peaceful lunch, we will immerse ourselves in the beauty of this unique gem. The calming atmosphere and charming nature of this historic site make it an excellent place to unwind and meditate.

From there, we will travel one hour to Skoura, one of the most beautiful oases in Morocco. The lush surroundings and serene environment of Skoura offer the perfect setting for relaxation and reflection.

Relaxation Day in Skoura

Today, we will take a day to relax, rejuvenate, and refresh ourselves. Enjoy a delightful picnic and tour of the beautiful oasis. We will spend time with local families, sharing in their traditions and experiencing their warm hospitality.

The focus of the day will be on meditation and delving deeper into ourselves, allowing for personal reflection and inner peace.

Journey to the Hypnotic Sahara Desert

In the morning, we will head to the otherworldly and hypnotic Sahara Desert via the Gorge of Todra. During this five-hour drive, we will make stops at local sites to sample delicious snacks and teas. Upon reaching the Todra Valley, we will enjoy a tasty Berbere meal and be serenaded by a Sufi band. Afterward, we will travel deeper into the desert, where you will experience a camel ride through the vast open sand dunes of the Sahara Desert, allowing you to imagine what it would have been like to traverse the ancient spice trail. This serene and expansive environment is the perfect place to immerse ourselves in meditation and release what no longer serves us.

After breakfast, we will ride over the Sahara dunes in a modern 4x4 and stop in the small village of Khamlia Gnawa. We will be transported back in time, as the inhabitants of this village are direct descendants of slaves forcibly moved from sub-Saharan countries such as Sudan, Mali, and Niger. A Rissani Sufi band will mesmerize us with their rhythmic chanting and music.

After breakfast, we will depart for Fes. This scenic nine-hour drive will take us through diverse landscapes, from rolling hills to lush valleys. Along the way, we will make stops to enjoy regional dishes, meditate, sing, and relax, soaking in the beauty and tranquility of the journey.

Upon arriving in Fes, you will experience one of Morocco's most vibrant and culturally rich cities, renowned for its historic medina and traditional crafts.

Embark on a historical tour that includes the Jewish quarter and the Medina of Fes, an enchanting treasure that transports you back in time. The unpaved streets of this ancient city section are both breathtaking and captivating. After this sensory-rich tour, we'll dine in a private Moroccan home, savoring traditional cuisine. The evening will be filled with the mesmerizing sounds of the Hmatcha, a group of spiritual brothers, who will enchant us with their traditional attire and music. Meditation and prayers are integral parts of their cultural celebration.

Overnight in Fes.

After a traditional breakfast to greet the morning, we will depart for Rabat. Our first stop will be the historic Loudaya fortress in Rabat, immersing ourselves in its rich history and captivating views. Next, we will continue our journey to Casablanca, where we will visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest and most beautiful mosque in Morocco. Here, we will enjoy a guided tour of this stunning architectural marvel, which is the second-largest functioning mosque in Africa. After exploring these remarkable sites, we will stay overnight in Casablanca.

After breakfast, you will be transported to the airport to depart from the enchanted land of Morocco. Reflect on the transformative experiences and memories gathered during this journey. We've explored ancient cities, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural traditions.

Recall the serene moments, the soulful music of the Hmatcha, and the heartfelt connections made with fellow travelers and locals. These experiences have offered opportunities for personal growth, healing, and a deeper understanding of Morocco's unique heritage.
